Sales velocity

Track the rate at which your products are selling over the past 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. By highlighting fast-moving products, you can display messages like "Going fast" to motivate quick purchasing decisions and drive conversions. Combine with Days of Inventory Remaining or Available Inventory to fine-tune your messaging.

This metafield is automatically updated for products that are part of the shop's orders during the past 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. The value of the metafield will be the ordered quantity of the product divided by the number of days in the period (1, 7 or 30), rounded to 2 decimals. By that logic, if no orders in the period mention the product, the value is 0.00. A non-existing metafield means that the product has not been sold since the field was enabled.

Details

When you initially enable this metafield, the individual product metafields will be set in a background task. If you have a large number of orders in the period, this may take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours. Once the metafields are set, they will be updated in real-time
